| Projectfork 2.1 stable released |
![]() Here is is! With tons of bugfixes, polishing and optimization, 2.1 stable is faster and cleaner than any previous version. Some of the major changes are listed in the changelog below. I highly recommend everyone to upgrade to this version. If you're still running Projectfork 2.0.x, read and follow this guide. If you're using any of the 2.1 RC's you'll find the update packages here and the update procedure is as usual. Before you update, know that the "index.php" and "general.css" files of the default theme have changed. If you have modified the default theme code be sure to take a backup before updating or your changes may be lost. Calling all translatorsIf you were running Projectfork with a translated file so far, it is now outdated and may cause some technical issues (nothing fatal though). Therefore I'm asking everyone out there to help and update the existing translations or create new ones. If you're interested in creating a new translation package, simply follow this tutorial. If you'd like to update an existing package, read part 2 of the tutorial. What next?So far I have been very busy knocking out this release and didn't really have the time to work on extensions and extension updates. I bet some of you Projectfork subscribers are getting impatient, waiting for new extensions to come out. And this exactly what I will be focusing on now, along with new documentation for Projectfork. Kyle and I are also updating the demo site and we're making a second one to showcase the extensions included in the PF Powerpack.Changelog
