It's official: we listen to our club members. Our latest template PopPraise was created from requests in our forums. Members wanted a template with trendy design elements such as drop-shadows, big gradients, rounded corners, reflections, etc. One user complained that our templates just don't "pop", and even went as far as to say our "flat looking sites look too dull for most of my clients".  That honestly upset me, as I totally disagree with the last part and think our templates are much more suitable for "real" websites and business than most templates from other clubs.

We collectively took a step back, put our feelings aside, and counted to ten.  We decided to throw all these requests into one template and see if it would look ridiculous or if it would resemble the clubs from which we try so hard to set ourselves apart, and the first version did.  We cranked down the flare just a bit and injected our style and things started to work.  We added these flashy design elements in such as way that they can be easily modified and still stick to design principles and I must say that I'm actually a fan of the final outcome.  So thanks to our members for pushing us out of our comfort zone, we hope you enjoy PopPraise.
