Introducing TapTheme
TapTheme will be the new home of MobilePraise, which will be renamed "TapTheme iPhone". I chose this naming convention to allow for a whole family of TapTheme products for different mobile browsers.
Not Just A New Name - New Features
In the move over to TapTheme, MobilePraise receives a big update. The theme count jumps from 2 to 17 incredible iPhone-inspired themes including Notepad, Book and Chalkboard. Practically every color in the spectrum is included so you won't have to customize TapTheme to match your current website colors.
A new CSS dropdown menu has also been added to TapTheme to allow for many more menu items in the header. No additional module required.
The iPhone-inspired dock has also been updated to match the iPhone4 dock including a cool webkit reflection.
TapTheme for iPad - Joomla iPad Template for the frontend
With the release of TapTheme iPhone, we're launching TapTheme iPad as well! TapTheme iPad serves the same purpose: to give site visitors a viewing and reading experience that's optimized for their device. Just as iPhone visitors would have a more enjoyable experience in TapTheme iPhone, iPad visitors will prefer visiting your site with TapTheme iPad.
Android Up Next
TapTheme Android is currently in the design phase. Look for a more Android-like user experience for your Joomla site very soon! Following the Android release I'm going to take a close look at PalmOS.
What About Current Customers?
All customers that have purchased MobilePraise individually will automatically be upgraded to TapTheme iPhone with the new version ready to download from the Pixel Praise Store.
TapTheme iPhone won't be included in the JoomlaPraise Bundle. Those users will retain access to the current MobilePraise release for a short while (so download now!). We'll be sending out an email to those bundle owners with a significant coupon for TapTheme.
TapTheme iPad is sold separately for the same low low price ($29) and without domain restrictions.
