We have updated Eleglance and Softpraise to 2.5.2. This update fixes an issue with Slogan repopulating the admin field when empty, making it impossible to turn it off. If Slogan is blank then the wrapper won't output in the template. Thank you for everyone letting us know about the tweaks needed to make our templates better.

Just the other day I got a call from a client. Right in the middle of the conversation he asked me, point-blank, "You seem to really like your job. Why is that?"

This got me thinking. What really motivates ‘corePHP’/JoomlaPraise to do what we do? Our work is not easy and often times it’s challenging and difficult. But we do love it and wouldn’t want it any other way. Let me explain why.

Today we released Softpraise 2.5.1 which is a minor update that fixes the following:

• Fixed an issue with K2 pages not scrolling on some sites. This was from one of the body class tags outputting as .item which conflicted with another class on the page. This was solved by adding prefixes to all body classes to ensure uniqueness.
• Removed an experimental style for modals in the responsive stylesheet.

We also reuploaded Genesis 2.5 after fixing a couple install issues. In addition, we added the header from the demo into the placeholder for the banner so everyone has the example of how it was done.

We'll have more templates upgraded to 2.5 soon!

This is a premium upgrade of our popular club template SoftPraise. It now features a drop-down menu, enhanced CSS3 style upgrades, a logo uploader with auto sizing in your template, a template admin visual color picker, built-in social media buttons, a mobile responsive layout and more.

If you are like me, you may have thought that embedded YouTube videos automatically work with all mobile devices. Not true! YouTube uses Flash video streaming by default so anyone on an iPhone, iPad or iPod won't be able to view your videos. After some searching around the internet for a while, I came across a way to make embedded videos work everywhere.

We have received many enquiries about Joomla! 2.5 upgrades for our templates, so we figured it would be a good idea to tell you the roadmap we are planning and when you can start to expect these updated templates. You will be happy to know that most of the templates are around 80% completed. The most time consuming part of the other 20% is changing the CSS from Joomla! 1.5 to Joomla! 2.5, getting rid of any tables in the template layout and adding some basic features.
